CQC Strategy

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) published their strategy recently, available in full on their website.

It is very well-received to see that there is an ‘Encouraging innovation and research’ section, as part of their ‘Accelerating improvement’ theme.

To quote the strategy, ‘Research can help improve the quality of care, and people often value the opportunity to participate in research, whether clinical trials or other studies. We’ll encourage services to play an active part in research to improve care for all, foster innovation and enhance people’s experiences of care’.
