MHRA 2021-2023 Delivery Plan

The MHRA have published their delivery plan for the 2021-2023 period.

As expected, there is a focus on overhauling the clinical trials system to support efficient set-up, including an MHRA/HRA/NIHR CRN pilot for fast-track approval, learning lessons from the COVID-19 response, and further development of the Innovation Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP).

There is also a focus on medical device regulation, and on developing an international strategy with the US and other countries.
